Performance storytelling is enjoying a revival. Have you always wanted to try storytelling, but don’t know where to start?

Join Lisa Schneidau and Ronnie Conboy for an informal half-day workshop on how to start traditional storytelling. Aimed at adult beginners, this workshop will give you some pointers on what makes a good story, some inspiration on where to find stories, and some experience of telling (without notes!). We will have some fun playing with various story types, and discover how storytelling lies very close to the surface of our everyday lives.

Refreshments will be provided. You may also want to come along to the Tales from the Wild storytelling event at Endecott House the same evening (listed as a separate event).

This event is hosted by Dartmoor Storytellers, who run a regular storytelling night in Chagford.
